Palm Beach and Broward counties’ job markets have been expanding, according to recent reports by the Sun Sentinel. Miami-Dade jobs are also growing, just not at the rate of the neighboring counties to the north. Currently, unemployment in these counties is as follows:

The GreenMarket of West Palm Beach is celebrating opening day at the new location in Waterfront Commons in Downtown West Palm Beach. Opening day is Saturday, October 15th and will be open every Saturday through April 14, 2012 from 8am to 1pm. Visitors can pick up everything from fresh cut flowers to freshly caught seafood. Tiger Cubs at the Palm Beach Zoo

Three tiger cubs were born at the Palm Beach Zoo back in May, and this Friday they will be out for their first meet and greet to the general public of zoo visitors. They will come out at 5:30 pm as part of the zoo’s Safari Night.

For those who are unable to attend the unveiling on Friday afternoon, you can check up on the cubs anytime you’d like from 10am-4pm daily at http://palmbeachzoo.org/tiger-cam.html. The Malayan cubs were born to mom Berapi and dad Rhimba, who were introduced with mating intention last November. The Malayan tigers are one of the smallest breeds, with an estimated 500 in captivity.
