Everyone knows that underage drinking is against the law; moreover, West Palm Beach City Commission is looking to take extra precautions to make sure that EVERYONE is aware of the law.

The West Palm Beach City Commission is reviewing a vote on whether or not to require signs stating the law, within city limits.

Currently, underage drinking signs are only required to be posted by alcohol vendors, and they illustrate the legal age to buy alcohol, the consequences if disobeyed, and a number to report illegal transactions. The new sign postage will not be limited to those who sell alcohol, but be directed towards all venues and areas of West Palm Beach.

If you are looking to move to West Palm Beach with young adults, you may be happy to know that the signs that have been posted for experiment, have proven to work. According to Jeff Kendall, the Executive Director of the Palm Beach County Substance Abuse Coalition, a 7.5% decrease in illegal underage purchases have been made, as well as a reduction in points of purchase sales.

West Palm Beach is looking out for you and your family, and the All My Sons family of West Palm Beach wants your family to be safe; once you move, enjoy spending time with your family and take advantage of all of the local events that can help to keep your kids out of underage drinking trouble.

West Palm Beach put its individual twist on “Screen on the Green”. In traditional towns, you are likely to find a local park that hosts movie nights on the lawn; however, in the great, sunny state of Florida, why would you not host movies on the beach?

West Palm Beach is combining the best of both worlds this weekend: beaches and movies. That’s right, you can enjoy a blockbuster hit on the white sandy beaches of West Palm.

Be sure to come early and get a good spot this Friday, December 12th, in order to watch this month’s screening of “Merry Madagascar” and “Home Alone”.

West Palm Beach knows how to mix things up and keep the community excited for the next best thing. From paddle boarding races, sand castle Christmas Trees, to movies on the beach, West Palm Beach really knows how to put its beach-front feature to great use.

The best part about moving to West Palm Beach is not solely its proximity to amazing beaches; West Palm Beach is not your typical little town. With new, pristine restaurants, bars, art shows, and available events for residents every week, you will never get bored.

This month, West Palm Beach will be featuring Sandi Land. This year marked Sandi Land’s third year, making it a new and unique holiday celebration adopted by West Palm Beach. West Palm Beach residents and visitors can view the amazing, one-of-a-kind 35-foot Christmas tree made out of 600 tons of sand.

If a giant sand constructed Christmas tree does not sound so exciting to you, maybe you will enjoy one of the other 25 ton sand sculptures surrounding the Sandi Tree.

If you are moving to West Palm Beach after the 2014 holiday season, be sure to make it to Sandi Land next year, and many more years to come!

If you are living anywhere besides West Palm Beach, you are living in the wrong place!

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and it is a great time to gather with family and friends and gorge on a helping of food that is supposed to be meant for two. Unfortunately, not everyone has the blessed opportunity of enjoying such luxuries. There are several families that are in need, and what better time than Thanksgiving to give back, and give others a reason to give thanks.

There are never enough hands to go around when helping the needy, and in West Palm Beach, several locations that are providing free suppers for the needy need your help.

Even if your hands are tied for the holidays and you cannot come out and help, if you know of anyone who would be interested in supporting this great cause, spread the word about the city’s 23rd Annual Share a Supper event!

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, the Pleasant City Recreation Center in West Palm Beach will be serving on a first-come, first-serve bases. The Share a Supper event will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and of course will include several hundred pounds of turkey, accompanied by other traditional Thanksgiving sides.

Week after week, West Palm Beach never fails to bring something new to the table. All My Sons of West Palm Beach is here to keep you up to date on what is hot in this thriving city.

This week’s new and compelling attraction in West Palm Beach is the Holocaust exhibit at West Palm Beach’s historical museum. The museum is featuring “The Courage to Remember’ exhibit that was produced by the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles. The museum brought this breathtaking exhibit cross-country for West Palm Beach locals to enjoy.

Although it is a heavy topic for many, it is a good opportunity to remind ourselves of our history, our neighbors’ history, and learn from past experiences. The exhibit is not advised for young children due to the graphic visual and subject matter.

If you love history, take advantage of this special exhibition before it is too late. The exhibit will remain open through November 29th and then move to its next stop on its traveling tour.

If you want to be able to enjoy special exhibits and other fun-filled events that West Palm Beach has to offer, call your West Palm Beach movers and schedule your move today! Moving to West Palm Beach will be one of the best decisions that you will make.

There are always new and fun events coming to West Palm and for the very first time this year, the city is bringing together its cultural institutions such as the Flagler Museum, Kravis Center, and the Norton Museum with downtown restaurants. The Greenmarket, Clematis bars, and City Place restaurants will all be participating in next week’s event to attract visitors and locals or even possible future residents alike.

To make traveling from one place to the next easier, there will be an expanded downtown trolley service going from hotels to museums to restaurants and concert venues. So leave the car at home and enjoy the ride.

Overall, the city of West Palm Beach is using the event to attract people such as yourself. This progressive urban district is still hidden from big name cities such as Miami, so the city is creating awareness of everything West Palm Beach has to offer!

The Halloween frenzy has crept into West Palm Beach’s very own Ink and Pistons gallery. J.R. and Amanda Linton, the owners of Ink and Piston, are hosting a particularly unique art show called Anatomically Correct.

Featuring art work chosen from several different artists, J.R and Linton brought together this spectacular art display inspired by medical oddities, Syfy creatures, Day of the Dead, pop-culture influences, and depictions of strange works of art that they encountered during several trips to Japan.

This Halloween appropriate art show brings a beautiful meaning to decay. Although Halloween incorporates death with horror, the pieces in the show for October 18th intertwine life and death.

Travis Bedel’s piece Memories of Now, will be a feature in the event; illustrating a strong, emotion-evoking profile of facial muscles and an arrangement of beautiful flowers. Bedel’s piece provides a sneak peek into what you can expect to see throughout the Ink and Pistons gallery this Saturday night.

If this piece fascinates you, make an appearance at the Anatomically Correct art show! If you are moving to West Palm Beach, you can pick up a one-of-a-kind piece of art to decorate your new home.
